Katinka Hossz has announced on social media that her grandfather and former coach Lszl Bakos has passed away at the age of 90.
The three-time Olympic champion announced on his Facebook page that his grandfather had died at the age of 90.
“Over the past 90 years, that’s not much. Still, if you talk about the High Priest, it means irreversibility. I don’t know when he first got into the pool, old man, some time before I can remember.I woke up at dawn, but that wasn’t just suffering – I can thank it. I did everything, but it was game – I can thank him. My arms were placed around my neck, but – I can thank Him for these” – Katinka Hossz in her memory.
