Dill’s aunt is no ordinary aunt. She considers herself a great poet, but unfortunately her talent is not appreciated by anyone. Dill’s aunt literally starts to write and write new articles every day. After all, a lot of verses have accumulated, and she is constantly trying to bless someone with her miraculous work, but no one in her city likes her articles for some reason. Even crazier. They avoid Dille’s aunt, ignore him, drive him away, even call the police. Will this story end so sadly? Doesn’t anyone really even read her articles? Will the creative expressions of Dille’s aunt remain underappreciated?

Studying Kārlis Vērdiņš’s poem, the director has chosen creativity and its perception in society as a topic of research and conversation: “When creating the show, we thought a lot about artistic expressions and the necessary public appreciation. “Are the different self-expressions valued and have their own admirer? Can creativity be reprehensible at all? We play this poem, emphasizing the creative expressions, preserving the moment of creation present. Edgars Kaufelds.

The performance will be shown in the Great Hall of the Latvian Puppet Theater from October 11. Tickets can be purchased at all Ticket Paradise box offices and on the Internet. Upcoming show – October 11 at 11:00 and 14:00, November 6 at 18:30.
