Kanye West’s album livestream faced a temporary interruption during a recent listening party at the United Center in Chicago. The interruption occurred right after West mentioned the word “antisemite” in one of his tracks. It remains unclear if this was done deliberately due to West’s controversial history of antisemitism or if it was a coincidence.

The livestream, however, resumed after the interruption, allowing viewers to witness appearances by Ty Dolla $ign and West’s 10-year-old daughter, North, who goes by the name “Miss Westie.” Page Six reached out to West’s representative for comment but did not receive an immediate response.

This incident comes just two days after West took to social media to seek help in booking venues for his performances. He hinted that he has faced difficulties securing venues due to his past antisemitic rants. Later, it was confirmed that West had been given the green light to book venues, including the upcoming “Vultures” event at the UBS Arena in Elmont, NY.

West’s controversies surrounding antisemitism began in October 2022 when he tweeted about Jewish people. His social media accounts were restricted and/or deleted as a result. In a later interview, West openly praised Adolf Hitler, which sparked further outrage. It has been reported that West has recorded a 40-minute apology video to address his past remarks.
