Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce to Host Game Show on Amazon

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has been announced as the host for the upcoming game show “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?”. Amazon confirmed the news on Tuesday, revealing that the show is a spinoff of the popular game show “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?”.

The 20-episode series, set to air on Prime Video, will feature an adult contestant who will rely on a group of celebrities rather than fifth graders to help answer 11 questions on a range of subjects in a bid to win a $100,000 prize. Commenting on his new role, Kelce expressed his excitement, saying, “I grew up loving game shows, and I’m excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my very first one with ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?’. The original show is a great success, so to be bringing a new format with everyone’s favorite celebrities to the screen will definitely be entertaining. I’m just happy to be on the hosting side of the equation here and excited to see how these famous faces keep up.”
