Slovak football representative Juraj Kucka transferred to the English FC Watford from Parma, Italy. He agreed on a two-year contract with the Premier League participant. His transfer to the new location was carried out by the Stars & Friends agency.

The 34-year-old mid-pole and long-term representative of the Slovak Republic was considering a change of position after Parma dropped out of Serie A last season. The former player of the Prague Sparta, the Turkish Trabzonspor and the Italian clubs FC Janov and AC Milan thus fulfilled another football dream.

“Playing in the English Premier League has always been my dream and so I am very happy that I have succeeded now. It is never too late and this also applies to football. It will be a big change for me and I am very much looking forward to this challenge. Each competition has its own specifics and I am very happy that after unforgettable years spent in the Italian series A, where I learned a lot and matured football, I will also have experience with island football, ” he commented Kucka in the official press release.

“Juraj is an experienced player with a great football career. Therefore, I consider his transfer to the English Premier League to be a well-deserved culmination of his successful career and football efforts, which he has been showing on the field for years. I am convinced that Juraj, with his rich football experience, will be a benefit for Watford, England, “said agent Karol Csontó from Stars & Friends, who carried out the entire transfer.

Kuck’s contract in Parma was valid until June 2022, but after the team’s relegation to Serie B, the Slovak footballer wanted to change his place of work. In the summer, FC Genoa was also interested in him, but no agreement was reached. Kucka is a long-term representative, he started with the Slovak team at three championships (MS 2020, EURO 2016 and EURO 2020).
