The Husnul Khotimah Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) opened its voice regarding the cancellation of President Jokowi’s visit to the pesantren in Maniskidul Village, Jalaksana District on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.
The Islamic boarding school also responded to the circulation of screenshots of WhatsApp messages that were allegedly sent by the Chair of the Kuningan DPRD, Nuzul Rachdy, who stated that they had succeeded in canceling President Jokowi’s visit to Husnul Khotimah Islamic Boarding School.
KH Achidin Noor, the founder of the Husnul Khotimah Islamic Boarding School, said that his party felt that they had been pranked about Jokowi’s planned visit to Husnul Khotimah Islamic Boarding School which was eventually canceled.
“I was pranked, Husnul was pranked,” said KH. Achidin when confirmed by detikcom via telephone, Sunday (5/9/2021).
KH. Achidin explained the initial story of Jokowi’s planned visit to Husnul Khotimah Islamic Boarding School, before finally canceling and moving to Miftahul Falah Cilos Islamic Boarding School. A few days before Jokowi’s arrival to Kuningan, his party received information and sent a rundown.
“The chronology is like this, so Thursday before the visit there was news that he (Jokowi) wanted to come here, we were sent the rundown. Then a few days later many officials started to come here to see the preparations,” he explained.
After receiving information about the president’s arrival, Husnul Khotimah Islamic Boarding School then immediately made various preparations and coordinated with related parties.
Until one day before Jokowi’s arrival to Kuningan, Monday, August 30, all preparations, from setting up tents to collecting data on students who will receive vaccinations, have been carried out.
“Our preparations at that time were that the tents had been installed from BIN directly from Jakarta, then sterilized the rooms here of all kinds and data collection on students who wanted to be vaccinated was 3 days and 3 nights, working day and night was data collection because many students did not have ID cards. ,” he said.
However, on the D day, Tuesday, August 31, 2021, where Jokowi is scheduled to review the vaccination at Husnul Khotimah Islamic Boarding School, Achidin admitted that he had no definite information at all if the planned visit was cancelled.
“There’s no news, it’s not there, the information is only added to the route to Ciloa and it turns out that all of the officials were there. Well, on the D day it was clear, in the morning from BIN someone asked me to take part in the rehearsal, I asked so no came here but there was no information until it finally didn’t come,” he said.
Achidin commented on the Palace’s explanation regarding the cancellation of President Jokowi’s visit to Husnul Khotimah. The palace argued that the transfer was in accordance with the route of Jokowi’s working visit.
“The road is the same, if we turn right, it (Ponpes Miftahul Falah) turns left, 5 KM difference. So if the reason for shortening it actually lengthens it. The statement from the Palace has read me, I don’t think it makes sense,” he said.
Achidin suspects that there is a possibility that Jokowi’s visit to Husnul Khotimah Islamic Boarding School may be canceled due to the actions of the Chairman of the Kuningan DPRD, Nuzul Rachdy. The reason, he said, indirectly Nuzul also admitted that he had sent the chat when he was involved in an argument with residents.
“Then Nuzul Rachdy’s chat circulated. After this chat appeared, I thought it really meant, Nuzul as chairman of the DPRD and party administrators could just report to the center, 10 minutes after that, let alone added contacts to Gus Yaqut,” said Achidin.
“Allegedly yes because he (Nuzul) when arguing said it was my chat between our members, it means that it is strongly suspected that he sent the chat,” he continued.
Achidin said that at this time his party would first see developments regarding the circulation of Nuzul Rachdy’s chat which stated that he had succeeded in canceling Jokowi’s visit to Husnul Khotimah Islamic Boarding School.
“We are currently looking at the developments in the future,” he concluded.
