Four years ago John Travolta (70) had to say goodbye to his wife Kelly Preston (57). He also lost his child in 2009 Jett at the age of 16. Yesterday the Greaseactor reflected on the tragic death of his son on Instagram.

Last Saturday, John posted a heartbreaking message on his Instagram. He shared a family photo of him and his late wife Kelly and son Jett. His son would have turned 32 that day. “Happy birthday my Jetty – not a day goes by that you’re not with me!” said John.

Jett died in 2009 at the age of 16 during a holiday in the Bahamas. He had a seizure in the bathroom and then fell on his head. He suffered from epilepsy and autism. He was also diagnosed with Kawasaki disease at an early age. This is a rare disease in which the wall of the blood vessels becomes inflamed.

John tied the knot with Kelly in 1991. Kelly passed away four years ago at the age of 57. The actress battled breast cancer outside the spotlight. The outside world didn’t know anything was going on. But behind closed doors, actress Kelly fought hard against breast cancer for two years.

On Sunday, July 12, 2020, she lost that battle. “Our dear wife and mother passed away after a two-year battle with breast cancer,” John and children said Ella (24) in Benjamin (13) to know. “She chose to keep her fight private and drew a lot of support from her family and friends.”
