Jeff Grubb: Xbox Series X | S owners expect a good year for exclusives in 2023 – Microsoft is preparing successful sequels and new IPs

According to a famous insider Jeff Grubbin 2021-2022 in the plans Microsoft for 2023 included the release of nine exclusives for Xbox Series X | S And PC. Training included Fable from Playground games, Perfect darkness from The initiative And Declared from Obsidian entertainment.

The full list looked like this:

  • Infernal Blade 2
  • Perfect darkness
  • Fable
  • Smuggling
  • Declared
  • always wild
  • New InXile Entertainment game
  • New game from Compulsion Games
  • New game from The Coalition (Gears 6)

Over time, these plans have changed. Starfield, Redfall And Forza Motorsport moved from 2022 to 2023, and obviously Fable, Perfect Dark and Everwild won’t be completed in time.

However, after a relatively empty 2022, Xbox users should expect a good 2023, says Grubb.. He believes the anticipated Starfield, Redfall and Forza Motorsport Hellblade 2, a new InXile Entertainment game, a new Compulsion Games game and a new game from the creators of Gears of War will join. The last three are new IPs.

“Everwild will definitely miss 2023,” Grubb said.

Microsoft plans to increase the number of games from its in-house studios over time. They will all debut immediately with an Xbox Game Pass subscription.
