An inmate took to the chase while under police surveillance at Jeetoo Hospital. However, the escapade of this 27-year-old inhabitant of Plaine Lauzun was short-lived. The suspect was found by authorities shortly after wandering through an alley in the capital.
The facts took place around 2:30 p.m., this Friday, January 29. While being taken to hospital for treatment, the suspect, involved in a domestic violence case, took the opportunity to escape the vigilance of the officer accompanying him before fleeing.
After being caught by the authorities, the suspect was returned to police custody.
