Jean-Vauchère Nautical Area Modernization: From Gas Boilers to Low-Consumption Public Swimming Pool

In service for more than twenty years, the Jean-Vauchère nautical area, in Colomiers (Haute-Garonne), is undergoing modernization work. The project, which began on September 4, 2023, aims to transform the structure into a low-consumption public swimming pool. This operation will last until November 6.

The old gas boilers will be replaced by high efficiency condensing boilers. This transformation will reduce current consumption by around 35%. In addition, a humidity level regulation system will be put in place to improve user comfort. The work will also include the installation of 32 photovoltaic panels, more energy-efficient water treatment pumps and new LED lighting.

The pools will be refilled with water from October 24 to test the new installations. This renovation project is estimated at approximately 2.5 million euros.
