Japanese fraudster deported from PH

A Japanese national, Risa Yamada, who was wanted in Tokyo for alleged financial fraud, was deported from the Philippines on Friday morning. Yamada was accused of conspiring with other suspects to steal information from ATM cards by impersonating bank employees and police officers. In September last year, a Tokyo court issued an arrest warrant against her for theft. The Bureau of Immigration arrested Yamada in Pasay last January, as she was also an undocumented foreigner following the revocation of her passport by the Japanese government. Upon her deportation, she was added to the immigration blacklist, barring her from returning to the Philippines.
