On March 18, the music bank’s part-time guest was a musician Jānis Stībelis, who submitted their new single, created in 2021, to the audience “The stars are falling tonight.” The composition will complement the upcoming album, which will see the light of day in the near or distant future.

Jānis Stībelis, who is also the author of the song’s music and lyrics, says:

The song was made earlier this year, when it quickly darkened. However, we are still waiting for the light, we are waiting for the summer, we are waiting for changes that could make us happy.

Sometimes it’s hard and we’re looking for what we seem to have lost. Sometimes we have forgotten to rejoice in the simple, the snow is melting, spring is coming, the birds are chirping.

We forget what is really important in our lives, we forget our loved ones who are by our side and give us their love and helping hand in our daily lives.

Therefore, I urge you to remember that there is someone in this world who loves us or whom we love, and not to be ashamed to show love.

During the show, Jānis Stībelis gave us and the listeners three tips on how not to give up, not grieve, rejoice and gain positive emotions during this difficult time! What were they like? Listen to the audio attachment!
