Among the researchers involved was Nicole K. Lewis, an astronomer at Cornell University, who had been assigned 130 hours as principal investigator to find planet–planet which have signs of habitability.
Planet-planet this, known as exoplanetscattered throughout the universe, beyond the solar system and the Milky Way Galaxy.
“By seeing the various types planet in different environments, we can start to find out why they are the way they are,” Lewis said in a statement released by Cornell.
