The 63-year-old man may only spend part of that time in prison because 6 months of the sentence are suspended. He will have to serve those six months if he makes another mistake, but the judge hopes to prevent this.

When determining the sentence, the judge took into account that the instructor was much older than his underage victims, and that they needed him as a teacher for their training. Nor could they go anywhere, because they had to keep driving. “Their young age, dependent position and limited freedom of movement made them less resistant. The suspect must have realized this when he took advantage of it.”
According to the court, the perpetrator did not care that his behavior had harmful consequences, and he still does not see the ‘objectionable nature’ of it. In addition to the prison sentence, the suspect must pay the girls compensation totaling EUR 3,700.
