Izabela Kuna: I lost my job because of honesty
Izabela Kuna is a valued and popular actress. It turns out, however, that she has lost roles at times. In an interview with Żurnalista, she told about a situation that happened to her on the set more than a decade ago.
I lost my job out of honesty. I don’t really regret it, but it happened because of what I said or some things that there was nothing to play and I wanted to discuss that maybe something and then I didn’t get it anymore – she began.
The actress explained that she stood up for her colleagues. The production did not like it.
It seemed to me that the whole team cannot work so many hours in such conditions, it was several years ago and then I was relegated from the next part. I feel like laughing when I talk about it and I didn’t experience it then either, because I thought I was doing the right thing. That was fifteen years ago. Maybe even less.
Kuna did not reveal what format it was about, but from her words we can conclude that it is probably about the series “Na Wspólnej”. The star played the role of Aneta Czarnecka, and her story suddenly ended.
However, the topic of the work did not end there. The actress recalled that before she began her adventure with acting, she earned extra money by cleaning houses in Norway.
I spent all my holidays there and painted people’s houses. I started cleaning, then got promoted, painted houses and put “glass fiber”. Glass wool, which you put as wallpaper on the wall and paint. There, for the first time, I ate olives stuffed with paprika, which I threw away to a Norwegian woman because I thought worms had infested there. I saw a different world. The fact that others spoke English was a big shock to me.

Izabela Kuna at the Journalist also opened up about her childhood. The actress admitted that she had complexes.
I studied very well, and I had a complex for a girl who is not pretty enough. The fact that I am learning well does not mean anything, because there is no such translation. My mom used to say that I don’t deserve those Fridays I have, that whatever I did, it was always not enough. Perhaps, on the one hand, my mother wanted to motivate me, but she diminished my value. I was always in the back of my head that I wasn’t learning well enough, that I wasn’t looking good enough, she said.
Marten, although in a happy relationship, still likes to please other men. She revealed that she felt less interest from the opposite sex than she used to be.
No, sometimes I have some nice conversations with men, you can see that I like me, but certainly less than before. I can’t understand it, I’m sorry. I’m fucking sorry.
