The finale of ‘De Bachelorette’ was a real anti-climax. For weeks the viewers looked forward to the decision moment, on which Ivan was elected. But immediately afterwards it became known that Elke and Ivan after a relationship of two months broke up.
Different lifestyle
Each stated that the main reason for their breakup was that they were “too different”. Ivan now confirms that. “We are not on the same page for the future and we have a different lifestyle,” he writes on Instagram during a question time.
Heavy months
The 29-year-old project employee from Grimbergen says that in December, two months after the decision was taken, they jointly decided to end their relationship. That was not an easy decision for him either. “It was tough months, also reliving everything after eight months. But I’m fine. It was a wonderful adventure followed by a beautiful short relationship. But life goes on ”, it sounds.
Sincere feelings
Some people had the impression that Ivan played with Elke’s feelings during the recording. He strongly denies that. “I just (sic) didn’t play anything. I have been honest about my feelings from start to finish, ”he clarifies.
Meanwhile, Ivan is still single. Whether he is ready for a new relationship? “Step by step, everything in good time,” he concludes.
