IV Regional Committee of CONALMEX-UNESCO Organizes Civic Act to Promote Patriotism and Respect for National Symbols

Within the framework of the civic act that the Secretary of Education of the State of Tabasco (SETAB) carries out on the first Monday of each month in the central courtyard of its facilities, the IV Regional Committee of CONALMEX-UNESCO was responsible for organizing and developing this act in which patriotism and respect for national symbols are promoted.

Administrative staff and public servants that make up the structure of the unit paid homage to the flag and sang the national anthem in this civic act headed by the Undersecretary of Basic Education, Santana Magaña Izquierdo; that of Secondary and Higher Education, Luis Rodrigo Marín Figueroa, as well as the Undersecretary of Planning and Evaluation, Clara Luz Lamoyi Bocanegra.

The director of the IV Regional Committee of CONALMEX-UNESCO, Luis Andrés Pampillón Ponce offered the official speech in which the “213th Anniversary of the Independence of Mexico” was highlighted, noting that, with the commemoration of this date, each year the Mexican and we Mexicans reaffirm the values ​​of freedom, sovereignty of the people, justice and equality, upheld by the insurgent heroes, and which continue to be values ​​that guide and inspire Mexico as a nation.

He highlighted the Mexican flag as the maximum symbol of the unity of Mexican men and women, which with its three colors also symbolizes hope (green), the purity of Mexican ideals (white) and the blood spilled by our national heroes (red ).

By highlighting “loyalty” as a value of nobility, rectitude, honesty and honesty, Pampillón Ponce asserted that it is time for Tabasco residents “to loyally support our pedagogical flag, which is the New Mexican School, which our government has built with the community paradigm, a sign of our original peoples”.

In the civic act, the “Albert Einstein” Technological Baccalaureate Center participated with the representation “The Independence of Mexico”, where students recalled the beginning of the armed movement, led by Miguel Hidalgo, Ignacio Allende and Mariano Abasolo at dawn of September 16, 1810.
