Apple had greatly reduced the prices of its iPhone XR in many regions of the world. In China in particular, Apple has always been able to boost sales towards the end of a quarter, according to the seven-page study (read here). –
Because prices continued to drop shortly before November 2019, this could have had a positive impact on the Christmas business.
The current flagship iPhone 11 has a market share of 1.6 percent. According to the study, the model struggled due to its price and strong competition. For comparison: The Oppo A9 also has a market share of 1.6 percent!
