It’s Good When People Want To Jail Me

Medan

North Sumatra Governor Edy Rahmayadi responding to a report submitted by the Indonesian People’s Universe Movement to NCP. Edy was surprised that someone wanted to imprison him.

“Why are people so happy that people want to imprison me,” said Edy to reporters at the Gubsu official residence, Medan, Friday (1/14/2022).

Edy denied the allegations of gratification which led to him being reported to the KPK. Edy said he would report back to the reporter, Ismail Marzuki.

“I’ll report him back later,” Edy said.

Edy then explained about his LHKPN which was also reported by Ismail Marzuki. Edy said the LHKPN had been verified by the KPK.

“The LHKPN is the responsibility of my property, I will report it to the authorities. There is no need to report it, indeed people have their reports compiled with the KPK. The KPK has gone down, it is impossible for the KPK not to come down to conduct a survey of the truth of what we report,” he explained.

Previously reported, Edy Rahmayadi was reported to the KPK by Indonesian People’s Universe Movement. The report relates to allegations of gratification and clarification of the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN).

The report was submitted by the representative of the Indonesian People’s Universe Movement, Ismail Marzuki, to the KPK on Thursday (1/13/2021). The reporter explained the reason for reporting Edy.

“There was construction of gabions without a permit from the ministry, because all gabions on the riverbank must have permission from the ministry. While he was building without a permit, it means that there are alleged indications there,” Ismail told reporters. He did not explain in detail the location of the gabion.

Ismail also showed a receipt for the report dated January 13, 2022. Ismail also explained his reasons for reporting Edy about the LHKPN clarification.

“Because the LHKPN is in 2019, he doesn’t seem to have listed the ownership of a martial art called the Cakra Fruit Education Park covering an area of more than 15 hectares in the Deli Tua area, Namorambe,” he said.
