Cianjur: BCG and Polio vaccine stocks for babies in Cianjur, West Java, since the last three months there has been a vacancy due to delays in delivery from the center.
The Head of Disease Prevention and Control at the Cianjur Health Office, Yusman Faisal, said that he had been submitting the application for several months.
“The availability of vaccines should have been fulfilled since the beginning of the year because vaccine administration is a program that always exists every year, even the previous year has been described,” he said, Thursday, October 7, 2021.

Yusman said that the delay in the vaccine was possible due to several factors that were only known to the center. “We can’t say.”

He added, with the vacancy of the vaccine for the baby, don’t let people panic and worry because babies can still be vaccinated with a vulnerable time of up to three months.
“There is still a time gap, so parents who have babies don’t panic or worry, we are still trying to have the vaccine stock fulfilled this month,” said Yusman.
Currently it can only wait for the supply of vaccines from the center.
“We hope to receive both types of vaccines as soon as possible, so that they can be given to babies in Cianjur as soon as possible,” he explained.
