SIDRAP — The Institute of Health and Science Technology (ITKeS) Muhammadiyah Sidrap is also concerned about the outbreak of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in Sidrap Regency.
For this reason, the health college in Bumi Nene Mallomo will deploy a team including the academic community, lecturers and students who will be directly involved in conducting health education and the movement to eradicate dengue mosquito nests.
This was conveyed by the Chancellor of ITKeS Muhammadiyah Sidrap, Drg Bambang Roesmono, MM, in his office, Wednesday, June 16, 2021.
In addition, continued the Chancellor, his party has also formed a DHF Management Assistance Team.
The team later, said Dr. Bambang, will work optimally by continuing to coordinate with the Sidrap Regency Government
“The Assistance Team for the Management of DHF that we have formed will be led by Dr. Muh Tahir Saenong, SKM, M.Kes. The work of our team is also part of the community service carried out by our lecturers and students,” he said
Just to note, the case of DHF in Sidrap Regency is currently very significant. This June alone, the number of dengue cases was 63 cases, 5 of them died.
