Italy car market 2020: the best-selling hybrids and electric cars in October

Despite the 2020 Italian car market in the month of October showed a slightly negative sign, keep going registrations of hybrid, plug-in and electric models very well. These cars are achieving very important growth rates. The merit is certainly also of the incentives but it is clear that the market is moving towards these categories of vehicles. Indeed, registrations of the “classic” petrol and diesel models continue to decline rapidly.

Coming to the numbers, hybrid, plug-in and electric rose respectively to 24.7% of share (+17.3 points), to 2.3% (from 0.5% a year ago) and to 1.8 % of the total. Let’s see at this point which were the most popular models in October in these categories.
