The incident of a grandmother in South Tapanuli (tapsel), North Sumatra (North Sumatra), was kicked by students in scout uniforms viral on social media. In fact, several months earlier, the grandmother had also been beaten with wood.
Reported detikSumatraSunday (20/11/2022), Chief of Police Southern Tapanuli AKBP Imam Zamroni revealed that the action of beating his grandmother using wood also went viral on social media.
“Six people (arrested), in the kicking video there are five seen in the beating with wood video there are four perpetrators in the video but if put together only six perpetrators of the two incidents,” the Imam said.
Imam revealed that the perpetrators of the beating with the stick and the kicks came from the same group of students. He said that currently six young people have been arrested.
“Then last Saturday around 11 the incident occurred, which can be seen in the video of the prosecution that kicked one of the perpetrators against the mother of the same victim of the previous incident, there were five people. in the same student or youth group and from the two incidents there were six people responsible,” the priest said.
The imam said that the offender was a student of one of the SMK in tapsel. They are on average seated in grade 11 with an average age of 15-16.
