The municipal police of Tours arrested on the night of Thursday to Friday a driver aboard a Toyota Yaris after finding that he was driving in the wrong direction and at high speed on rue Merville, in old Tours.
Arrested at Place du Grand-Marché, the man first blew into the breathalyser before being taken to the central police station where the breathalyser revealed a rate of 1.8 grams of alcohol per liter of blood. He will be summoned later.
