“It hurts to read some comments”

Harry Kane has been linked with a move to Manchester City earlier this summer, where information came recently that the English national team striker has agreed with City on a contract.

Kane has not yet returned to Tottenham after his holiday, and it has previously been rumored that it is because he wants to try to get a move.

Now Kane is responding to all the rumors in a post on twitter.

“It’s been almost ten years since I made my Spurs debut. For every year, you fans have shown me total support and love. That’s why it hurts right now to read some of the comments that have come in the last week that question my professionalism.” writes Kane.

He continues:

“I will not go into details about the situation, but I want to make it clear that I would never, and never have, refused to train. I will return to the club tomorrow, as planned. I would not do anything to jeopardize the relationship I has been with the fans, who have given me such incredible support during my time at the club. That has always been the case and still is. “

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola recently confirmed that City want to sign Kane, but that Tottenham do not want to discuss a transfer.

– He is a Tottenham player and if they do not want to negotiate, it’s over. If they want to negotiate, there are many clubs that want to recruit him, and we are no exception. We are very interested, and of course we will try, he said at a press conference earlier today according to the BBC.

Kane’s contract with Tottenham extends until the summer of 2024.
