Israel announced shelling of its ship

Israel is checking whether Iran is behind the shelling of its container ship off the Arabian Peninsula.

An Israeli cargo ship came under rocket fire off the coast of the Arabian Peninsula. He writes about this with reference to the Israeli media Reuters.

“The Israeli Defense Ministry is checking whether Iranian forces are behind a possible attack on a cargo ship, which is partially owned by Israel, during its movement with Jedi in Saudi Arabia in the UAE,” the report says.

It is noted that as a result of the shelling, none of the ship’s personnel was injured.

“The crew was unharmed and the vessel was likely hit by a missile, but did not suffer significant damage and continued on its route after the incident,” Reuters reported.

At what point on the route the shelling took place is not reported.

According to the ship tracking system, the container ship in question was flying the Liberian flag. Last docked at Jedi and is currently off the coast of Dubai.

Recall in April an Israeli ship was attacked off the coast of the UAE… Israel claimed that a rocket was fired in the direction of the vessel from an Iranian ship or drone.

Also in March it was reported that Iran fired on Israeli ship.
