Isapres: Check when and how to receive the early return of surplus

The Health Superintendency announced the dates on which ISAPRES will specify the early return of surpluses from users, as an extraordinary measure to help people face the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The supervisory body instructed insurers on June 17 return the surplus generated between January and June of this year to its affiliates who are the owners of those monies.

  • New Masvida: Wednesday, September 30.

As indicated by the Superintendency of Health, they are 55,191 million pesos that the private health system – made up of six open and three closed insurers – will return to 1,059,759 affiliates.

According to the organism, Hive is the isapre that will return the largest amount of surplus: 15,714 million pesos, Followed by Banmédica (11,476 million), Cruz Blanca (9,695 million) and Consalud (9,568 million).
