I don’t know about you, but never ever I wouldn’t wish for an injury to an NHL player. Not even the one I like the least. Not even Brad Marchand.
However, did Muzzin look for him a bit by hitting Belzile when the latter was in a somewhat vulnerable position? Did karma do its job in deciding to punish Muzzin in turn? Did Pierre-Luc Dubois see the opportunity to serve him his own medicine?
Note that Alex Belzile played with the Rimouski Océanic from 2009 to 2012 and that the father in Dubois joined the organization in 2013 as an assistant coach. Would Dubois have wanted to avenge the injury of the former Océanic by assaulting this cross-check against Muzzin since Belzile and his father have a little bond in common?
