Is it not good for the West to defeat Russia? Igors Rajevs, a military analyst and NAF reserve colonel, explains in the TV24 special issue.
He points out that these are big geopolitical issues that are more hypothetical. For example, in the development of the conspiracy theory, everything is controlled by the huge military industry groups that benefit from any war, and they will be happy to produce large quantities of ammunition and weapons to profit from it.
Rajev thinks that is not what is driving this conflict forward.
“I think it is in the interest of all countries to end this conflict as soon as possible and return to some form of negotiation,” said the military analyst.
He emphasized that, firstly, an end to hostilities should be agreed, and secondly, economic ties should be re-established so that Ukraine could export its grain and the threat of famine in certain regions would not materialize.
“It must be understood here that if America inevitably has to get involved, it will have to use its resources to prevent the threat of famine in these regions, then it will not be very beneficial for America,” Rajev sums up.
