When will the new iPhone, the new Apple Watch appear, what is the design and how expensive will it be, which functions are there and which apps? There is much speculation about the answers to such questions. YouTuber Jon Prosser has been answering her regularly with his leaks for several weeks.
Q&A on Twitter
Prosser’s leaks are not limited to the platform YouTube: There he shoots more detailed videos and evaluates the credibility of his leaks, he also posts the information on Twitter. For example, a question and answer session on Twitter took place last week, in which he immediately revealed a whole range of information about new products.
Prosser tweeted about release dates: According to him, the iPad Pro will probably not come until 2021 and not as announced at the end of this year, the notch (i.e. the display notch) of the iPhone will probably still exist in 2021 and will only shrink for the time being.
Furthermore, Apple is hoping for the new openings of the Apple stores in May 2020 and the iPhone SE Plus with 5.5-inch display is sure to come according to Prosser – but not this year.
Apple is entering the gaming industry
The YouTuber leaks about the new Apple Watch in its question and answer design details: The new model will probably be very similar to the design of the Apple Watch Series 4. And the Mac apps Logic Pro and Final Cut will soon also be available on the iPad.
But the most surprising thing was the leak that Apple has been working on a game controller since 2019 – so far, the company had rather left the gaming industry to the competition with the apple. Whether this means that Apple will continue to invest in this market in the future was not discussed in the question and answer session.
Prosser’s sources are well protected
In an interview with macwelt, Prosser explained that protecting his informants is even more important than the number of clicks. As a result, according to Prosser, some of his (Apple-internal and Apple-external) informants have stopped sharing information with other speakers. He only reveals about the internal informants that they are in high management positions, but have probably not yet spoken on Apple keynotes.
The YouTuber declares that its information must always be confirmed by a third party before it leaks it. This may also explain why he is always right with his information.
