Bundesliga Home Challenge: FC Schalke 04 disassembles BVB at FIFA 20

Nassim Boujellab from FC Schalke 04 demonstrated BVB professional Achraf Hakimi in the virtual district derby and led the Royal Blues to a clear victory on match day 4 of the Bundesliga Home Challenge.

The 20-year-old Boujellab won 8-0 (4-0) in the FIFA 20 soccer simulation against Hakimi, the 20-year-old also scored four times with his own character.

Previously, the duel between the eSports athlete Schalke Tim “Tim Latka” Schwartmann and Dortmund’s Eldin Todorovac had split goalless. Boujellab is one of the best FIFA gamers among football professionals, and he also won his first three games in the weeks before without a problem.

Referees Martin Petersen and Daniel Schlager suffered a clear loss in the overall result in a duel with TSG Hoffenheim. Petersen lost to Marcel “plaplup” Schwarz 2: 6, Schlager had to give up the Hoffenheim professional Munas Dabbur 2: 4. Deniz Aytekin, who surprisingly defeated Jonas Hofmann from Gladbach two weeks ago, was not there this time.

Gladbach wins in the second derby

Also on offer on match day 4 of the Bundesliga Home Challenge was the derby between Borussia Mönchengladbach and 1. FC Köln. After a 0: 0 in the game of the eSports team, foal kicker Louis Hiepen finally won 4: 0 against FC professional Noah Katterbach. Previously Werder Bremen’s Davie Selke won his game 2-1 against Holstein Kiel.

Usually, for each of the 30 participating teams at least one licensed player and “one person from the respective club or its environment”, such as an eSport athlete, are at the start.

Each encounter in the tournament consists of two separate games, with a total of 25 minutes of play per scheduled. Officially, however, the new competition is not included in any sports rating.
