The new beta version of iOS 13.6 is only available for developers.
On June 22, Apple unveiled the new major update for iOS, version 14. An update which should be rolled out in public version next September, in parallel with the presentation of the new iPhones. In the meantime, Apple is still taking care of the current version of the iPhone operating system, iOS 13.6, and deploy the new beta.
With the upcoming arrival of iOS 14, this new beta does not really bring anything new except some improvements, especially in terms of downloading which becomes more flexible. This will allow users to choose to automatically download updates, but also install them automatically.
There is also talk of a new section in the Health app called “Symptoms”. The latter allows users to enter their symptoms when they feel bad, to add a description and to follow their evolution. A novelty which obviously echoes the health crisis linked to the coronavirus.
Overall, iOS 13.6 will also fix bugs and potential security vulnerabilities.
In parallel, the Cupertino company is also rolling out the third beta of macOS Catalina 10.15.6, watchOS 6.2.8 and tvOS 13.4.8. The public version of the various betas should be published within a few days.
