The man faces up to 7 years in prison with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities.

The accident near Rogachev was reported to the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee on February 26. According to the traffic police, the 40-year-old driver of a Ford car was moving along the road from the regional center to the village of Shchibrin, lost control and flew out into oncoming traffic. There he collided head-on with a MAZ bus.
The Gomel Regional Internal Affairs Directorate reported that a 36-year-old Ford passenger was killed and five injured.
