Investigations after corona outbreak in nursing home near Güstrow | NDR.de – news

After several tests in the nursing home near Güstrow, infections have now been detected in a total of 15 employees and in 29 of the 64 people in need of care, and one person has already died. The health department is in contact with the facility to keep operations going. First of all, this acute event must be brought under control, then the investigation will continue, said a spokesman for the district.

Accusation: No test concept and negligence

The allegations weigh heavily: wearing mouth and nose protection was neglected and no test concept was developed. Even after the first positive cases became known a week ago, people in need of care are said to have been driven to medical appointments normally.
