jpnn.com, JAKARTA – MPR Chairman Bambang Soesatyo asked the parties to exercise restraint in relation to the shooting incident by Bharada E that killed Brigadier Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat who was suspected of harassing the wife of the Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.
“Trust the police and their staff who are working,” said Bamsoet, who is familiarly called, Wednesday (13/7).
He supports the steps taken by the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, who has formed a special team involving Kompolnas and Komnas HAM to shed light on this case.
“Please rest assured that the National Police, under the leadership of the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit, are currently working professionally, objectively, and transparently by prioritizing the scientific crime investigation method, which is in line with the current Polri slogan, the Precision Police,” said the former chairman of the 20th DPR.
The former chairman of Commission III of the DPR gave support to the National Police in resolving the shootings that occurred between members of the police, especially to the National Police Chief General Listyo and the special team that had already started work.
“I am concerned about the incident that has attracted the attention of many parties,” said Bamsoet.
In particular, he thanked President Joko Widodo for paying attention and explicitly asking for legal proceedings to be carried out regarding the shooting case between police officers that occurred at the official house of the Propam Police Headquarters in Jakarta, Friday (8/7) last week.
The statement made by Jokowi in Subang on Tuesday (12/7) should be a weapon of encouragement to the National Police Chief General Listyo, the public is waiting for clarity on this incident.
