President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Russian invaders are preparing to realize their sick ambitions in Donbas. However, Ukraine will look for all possible options for protection until Russia begins to seriously seek peace.
He stated this in a video message.
“The Russian occupiers continue to accumulate military strength in order to realize their sick ambitions in the Donbas. They are preparing to resume active offensive operations,” the president said.
He stressed that Ukraine is preparing for a further reduction of the Russian military potential, manpower and equipment.
“We will fight and not retreat. We will look for all possible options to defend ourselves until Russia starts seriously looking for peace. This is our land. This is our future. And we will not give them away,” Zelensky stressed.
Earlier, UNIAN already reported that Zelensky appreciated new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation.
