Introducing the OnePlus Nord 3 5G: High-Quality Display, Powerful Processor, and Affordable Pricing

The OnePlus brand is attacking the middle class with a smartphone OnePlus Nord 3 5G. The novelty with IP54 resistance received a 6.74″ 120Hz AMOLED display with a resolution of 450 ppi and a brightness of up to 1,450 nits. The manufacturer also boasts the thinnest phone frames in the world, which measure 2.31 mm on the bottom edge and 1.46 mm on the remaining edges The straight display with rounded corners fills 93.5% of the front side.In terms of display quality, this is a high standard for the middle class.

On the sides of the phone with a thickness of 8.15 mm, there are stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos certification, as well as the OnePlus Alert Slider. The back cover in the green color variant has a glossy glass structure, while the gray color variant has a matte textured back. A non-replaceable 5,000mAh battery is located under the cover. The manufacturer claims a lifespan of up to 1,600 cycles (i.e. daily charging for four years) before it drops to 80% of its original capacity. The maximum charging power is 80 Watts (SuperVOOC), the phone battery goes from zero to one hundred in just half an hour, and the phone does not heat up significantly.

The OnePlus Nord 3 5G will be available in black and green color variants

The chipset and battery are cooled by an evaporation chamber that works with graphite pads. And they will be needed, because OnePlus got a powerful 4nm octa-core Mediatek Dimensity 9000 in the phone, which is normally found in much more expensive machines. It is followed by LPDDR5X operating memory, with a capacity of 8 or 16 GB. Thanks to the RAM-Vita function, the phone can keep up to 44 active applications in the background. The lower operating memory has 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage, in the case of the latter, its capacity is doubled.

Processor and camera from OnePlus 11

The mid-range novelty took over from the OnePlus 11 5G model, not only the chipset, but also the main camera. It is a 50 Mpx IMX890 photo chip from Sony, which is equipped with optical image stabilization. Shooting night photos is under the thumb of the TurboRAW Night algorithm, in which artificial intelligence reduces noise and increases brightness. The main sensor is followed by an 8 Mpx wide-angle camera and a 2 Mpx camera, which will probably only be up to the number. For the first time in the Nord series, it is possible to record 4K video with 60 fps.

The phone runs Android 13 with the OxygenOS 13.1 superstructure, and the software support period is also interesting. The OnePlus Nord 3 5G will get three major Android updates, and its users can count on up to four years of security patches. Certification from TÜV guarantees the fluency of the phone for at least 48 months after its acquisition. In addition to the 5G network, the phone’s connectivity also includes support for Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6 and NFC.

OnePlus Nord 3 5G pre-orders start today, with counter sales starting on July 12. The basic version of the phone (8 + 128 GB) will be available in the Czech Republic for CZK 10,990. At the same time, a version with 16GB of operating memory and 256GB of internal storage will go on sale, priced at CZK 13,490. Of course, with a discount for early purchase (July 5 – July 31 at selected retailers), you can get it for just CZK 12,290.
