“ROG Phone” is a gaming smartphone developed by ASUS, and the current model “ROG Phone 7” series was announced globally in April 2023.
Although the details of the new product are not known from the SNS posts, there is a statement that it is “equipped with the latest camera system”, which suggests that they are focusing on camera functions.
This post also introduces the online campaign “Pay attention to ROG Phone 8”. In this campaign, if you participate in a blindfold test where you choose the best photo from multiple photos, you will be entered into a lottery to win a ROG Phone 8. You must be signed in to your ASUS account to be eligible for prizes, but you can participate in the test itself without signing in.
The test is only described as a “blind photo test that compares photos taken with the industry’s leading smartphones,” and the results of the comparison test with photos taken with competing products are compared with the cameras of the “ROG Phone 8” or other products.
