Last night, a 33-year-old man insulted, verbally abused and threatened officers with death in his hometown of Tilburg. That happened when the police wanted to arrest him. Officers saw around midnight on the Besterdring that a group of people were fighting with each other. One of them was the Tilburger. He appeared to be intoxicated and was stopped by friends from getting into his car.
When officers wanted to investigate, they were told that the man may have destroyed several scooters. They were also insulted by him several times. It was then decided to arrest him. Despite fierce resistance, he managed to handcuff the Tilburg citizen, but he also went on a rampage on the way to an interrogation in a cell complex.
