Bremen (dpa / lni) – Bremen’s Senator for the Interior Ulrich Mäurer (SPD) today presents the constitutional protection report for 2020. Together with the Bremen constitutional protection chief Dierk Schittkowski, he wants to inform, among other things, about the increase in militant left-wing radical actions as well as the appropriation of the protests against corona restrictions by right-wing extremists and other groups. In 2019, Bremen counted 127 offenses in the area of ​​politically motivated crime from the left (2018: 119). 22 of these were violent crimes (2018: 15). From the right spectrum, 134 crimes (2018: 152) were registered, of which 3 were violent offenses (2018: 4).
