TRIBUNJOGJA.COM – Inter Milan and Real Madrid have agreed to the provisions regarding the transfer of Moroccan international defender, Achraf Hakimi.
This was stated by an Italian broadcast journalist Sky Sport Italia Fabrizio Romano via his Twitter account just a moment ago.
According to the report quoted Sempreinter, Inter will pay Real Madrid € 40 million with an additional € 5 million to be paid in add-on.
Inter have agreed personal terms with Hakimi for a 5-year contract that will earn him 5 million euros per season during the contract period.
Roma further reported that although there were reports stating that Real Madrid had a repurchase clause included in the agreement, this had never been discussed and therefore this clause was not in the agreement between Real Madrid and Inter.
Romano continued that Hakimi would undergo his mandatory medical examination next week, before signing an agreement that would keep him bound with the Nerazzurri until the end of June 2025.
Achraf Hakimi is not a new name for Inter. His name has been monitored since the player strengthened Real Madrid and then shined at Borussia Dortmund.
The Nerazzurri are only one step away from securing the player’s signature after an effort they have made since almost four months ago.
“Hakimi chose Inter because the project offered him a 3-5-2 scheme that allowed him to bring out his best and see Serie A as an important step in his career development,” said Gianluca Di Marzio from Sky Sport.
“He refused offers from Bayern Munich and Manchester City who are ready to spend up to 60 million euros or according to Real Madrid’s request.
