BOLASPORT.COM – Racer Monster Energy Yamaha, Valentino Rossi, not much to say about the sanctions received Johann Zarco (Avintia Racing).
END MotoGP The steward sentenced Johann Zarco after being deemed responsible for a horror accident at the race MotoGP Austria (16/8/2020).
Johann Zarco declared proven to be racing irresponsibly, causing an incident which made the race stopped.
Zarco received a starting penalty from the pit lane on his next appearance at MotoGP.

Valentino Rossi was one of the riders who had urged Steward to take action against Zarco because of the accident.
As is known, Rossi almost fell victim to an incident involving Zarco with Franco Morbidelli (Petronas Yamaha SRT).
Rossi almost got hit by Morbidelli’s motorcycle crossing to Turn 3 on the Red Bull Ring. Zarco’s motorbike floated just a few meters in front of him.
Rossi is worried that Zarco’s aggressive style of racing will become the new norm in MotoGP if he doesn’t take firm action.
