jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Youth Center, Sunanto, asked the police to investigate the case of alleged abuse by Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte against Muhammad Kece.
According to the man who is familiarly called Cak Nanto, his actions Napoleon cannot be justified for any reason.
“Playing vigilantes is not justified for any reason, because we live in a state of law, there are rules that govern us as citizens,” he said in a press release, Tuesday (21/9).
The state, he said, must take action against all its citizens if there is a violation of the law.
The state must have a mechanism to impose sanctions or penalties for these violations while respecting the principle of protection of human rights.
“Muhammadiyah youth support law enforcement against alleged acts of violence by Inspector General Napoleon, also ask the public to refrain and not be easily provoked and take the law into their own hands on potential issues related to religion,” said Cak Nanto.
The President Commissioner of PT Istaka Karya asked the public to entrust this case to the police.
He also expects other law enforcement officers to handle these potential problems and process them in accordance with applicable legal provisions. (tan/jpnn)
