jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Muhammadiyah youth considered that the actions taken by Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte against Muhammad Kece could not be justified for any reason.

Muhammadiyah Youth General Chairman (PP) Sunanto said that if a citizen is suspected of violating the law, then the state has a mechanism to provide sanctions or punishment for the violation while still respecting the principle of protection of human rights.

“Playing judges alone is not justified for any reason, because we live in a state of law and there are rules of the game that govern us as citizens,” said Sunanto in a written statement received in Jakarta, Tuesday.

He conveyed this in response to the actions of Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte who allegedly smeared his face Muhammad Kece with human waste. Moreover, Kece is currently facing a legal process.

Regarding the incident, Cak Nanto – as Sunanto is known – said PP Pemuda Muhammadiyah supports law enforcement on alleged acts of violence carried out by Inspector General Napolen Bonaparte.

On the other hand, the public is asked to exercise restraint and not to be easily provoked and take the law into their own hands over the incident.

“The public should not be provoked by potential issues related to religion. We entrust the police to handle these potential problems and process them in accordance with applicable legal provisions,” he said. (between/jpnn)
