What is the latest information communicated?

1,113 people remain hospitalized for serious forms of COVID-19, including 135 in intensive care.
2,582 people have now been discharged from hospital.
The number of deaths since the start of the epidemic stands at 884 in hospitals.

A decline in the Covid-19 epidemic in Burgundy Franche-Comté
“The slow decline continues. But it remains slow. The number of new deaths is going up, ”notes Pierre Pribille, director general of the Regional Health Agency (ARS) of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.

In social medical establishments, the number of deaths since the start of the epidemic has reached 575 deaths, the main one of which is 551 in nursing homes. But here too, there is “a clear slowdown in the epidemic even if a certain number of establishments continue to experience significant difficulties”. In these establishments, more than 10,000 screening tests were carried out.

A capacity of more than 5000 tests per day
On this point too, the director of ARS is relatively optimistic. Today, the testing capacity for Covid-19 in the region is 5,300 daily tests according to the ARS. 3700 are treated by hospitals, private laboratories and veterinary laboratories in the region. 1600 others can be analyzed by private laboratories outside Bourgogne Franche-Comté.

These capacities are in line with the precise objectives of Prierre Pribille, who nevertheless wants to go further. “We have very strong prospects for developing these capacities. »Automata must notably be installed at the Dijon and Besançon teaching hospitals as well as in a private laboratory in the Jura.

Containment can favor the occurrence of domestic accidents involving children in particular, as observed by the French Association of Poison and Toxic Vigilance Centers setting out some simple actions to avoid them:
– Store household or professional products in a closed cupboard or overhead,
– Place the bottles of hydro-alcoholic solutions out of reach of young children after their use,
– Store all medicines high up or in a closed medicine cabinet,
– Do not pour products out of their original container,
– Do not mix the products together, especially if they contain bleach,
– Wear suitable protection (especially of the eyes) for the manufacture / use of the products,
– Monitor young children so that they do not ingest objects (button cells, metal beads or water beads / beads).
The poison control centers provide free medical teleconsultations, in emergency, 24 hours a day. For Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, the number to dial is that of the center of Nancy: 03 83 22 50 50.

Public spaces: Continue the usual cleaning of the roads

In the absence of scientific argument justifying the interest of disinfecting the roads to prevent risks of virus transmission, and in view of the potential environmental impacts, the High Council of Public Health recommends:
-not to implement a specific cleaning or disinfection policy for the roads in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic
-to continue to provide the usual cleaning of roads and street furniture with the usual protective equipment of professionals

Continue to heal

In this context, the Regional Health Agency recalls the importance of the continuity of essential care so as not to unduly delay treatment, the delay of which could lead to loss of chance.
Patients concerned with chronic diseases in particular, such as diabetes, hypertension, heart failure … should continue to consult their general practitioner and / or their specialist physician.

Screenings, vaccination …

Screenings for colorectal cancer, breast cancer or vaccination of the child must be provided according to the schedules provided, without delay.
ARS Bourgogne-Franche-Comté joined the message conveyed today by the Regional Union of Health Professionals (URPS) / Liberal Doctor in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, in partnership with Health Insurance and France Assos Santé : “Protecting yourself should not mean giving up care”

logistics or catering…

Respect confinement

The best way to contribute to the caregivers’ effort rests on the individual mobilization of each to collectively fight against the spread of the virus while respecting the containment system in place.

A website to find out if you are infected with coronavirus

A website has been set up to help those who wonder if they have been infected with the coronavirus: we can assess its symptoms and be advised on what to do.

The site maladiecoronavirus.fr allows you to take an anonymous and free “test”: you must answer 24 questions relating to your symptoms (fever, cough, difficulty breathing, muscle aches, etc.) but also to your medical history and age.

The first signs of COVID-19 are cough and fever. A person who experiences these symptoms is invited to stay at home by limiting their contacts, the disease curing in the vast majority of cases, with rest.

The attending physician is to be called as a first line, calls to 15 must imperatively be reserved for people with severe symptoms and for all other medical emergencies.
