“Then, the preparation of the collection of target genes for mammalian cells has been carried out, so that the S genes, S1 genes, RBD genes, and N genes have been prepared,” explained Prof. Amin.
Furthermore, Prof. Amin explained that all recombinant plasmids had been verified with the insert gene sequences and matched the local Indonesian isolate virus sequences used.
Overall, the working process is still in accordance with the vaccine development timeline, even though the target developed is increased to three systems.
