The soaring daily cases of Corona in Indonesia have made friendly countries tighten their borders. Bahrain put Indonesia on the red list along with 15 other countries. So is England. Even though they both treat Indonesia as a red list, there are differences.
Citing a Bahrain News Agency (BNA) report from the Saudi Gazette, the 6 Asian countries that have entered the red list first are Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
Then followed the Dominican Republic, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Malaysia, Mexico, Mongolia, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Panama, Philippines, South Africa, Tunisia, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
Passengers from red countries are prohibited from entering Bahrain unless they are Bahraini citizens or residents. Residents who are allowed to enter must have a PCR test within the last 48 hours of departure, then be tested upon arrival and must follow a 10-day quarantine.

Meanwhile, starting July 19 at 4 am local time, the UK has included Indonesia on the red list after previously being on the yellow list. Despite including Indonesia in the red list, arrivals from Indonesia are still allowed with a number of conditions.
“To prevent variants of Covid from entering the UK, it is best not to travel to red zone countries,” advises the UK government’s official website. There will be restrictions on the entry of Covid-19 for those who come from Indonesia. There are a number of special conditions.
With this regulation, the UK will only allow arrivals from Indonesia to its citizens and Indonesian citizens who have a permit to work and study in the region. Non-essential travel such as tours will be suspended.
Previous Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Taiwan as well as the Philippines already ban flights from Indonesia.
