The National Electoral Institute distributed millionaire fines, since in a session that lasted until dawn, in the General Council of the INE it fined the Green Party with 40 million 933 thousand 568 pesos and left it a year without access to radio and television to pay one million dollars to 104 influencers and celebrities to promote the vote for the party in full electoral season.
The President Counselor of the INE, Lorenzo Córdova, pointed out that just as he did in 2015, the Green violated the law by trying to influence the will of the citizen in an illegal way.
In an interview with Olivia Zerón in Denise Maerker’s space, Claudia Zavala, counselor of the INE, explained that there are the reasons, the foundations and the investigations, what was determined is that individuals with business activity cannot donate to parties.
The counselor stressed that those who are dissatisfied can go to the Court and challenge, the INE only issues the opinions.
