“Incredible Photos of Massive Sunspots Revealed by Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope”

JAKARTA – Sun has a very important role in life on Earth. However, many do not know what the sun’s surface looks like up close.

The latest photo of the sun revealed by the Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope. The result, very unique and even looks very scary. The photo shows that the sun is increasing its activity.

For your information, the Inouye Solar Telescope is the largest and most powerful in the world. The telescope didn’t just get incredibly detailed images. But it is also slowly expected to be able to unravel various mysteries of the universe.

Compiled from IFL Science, Wednesday (24/5), after more than a year of observations, at least eight photos have been obtained showing a number of activities taking place at the center of the solar system.

One of the photos focuses on the photosphere, the region commonly referred to as the surface of the Sun. The photos show areas of the Sun mostly calm with some areas that are more active than usual.

Hotter plasma rises from the Sun’s interior, creating lighter spots, with cooler plasma forming a slightly darker streak between each cell.
