KONTAN.CO.ID – NEW YORK (Reuters). Wall Street’s three main indexes moved unevenly due to economic data from the United States (US) which added to the uncertainty of economic recovery. At the close of trading Friday (14/8), the Dow Jones strengthened while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq weakened.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 34.3 points or 0.12% to 27,931.02, the S&P 500 was down 0.58 points, or 0.02%, to 3,372.85, while the Nasdaq Composite was down 23.20 points or 0.21% , to be 11,019.30.
